RNGdle Badge Guide: All 233 Badges

One table for every captured badge: its ID, name, fixed EP, family, independently written condition, and badge rarity band. Search within the rendered rows below.

Read a badge entry

The ID is a stable key in the captured definition set. The display name is a short label shown to players. EP is a fixed score associated with the badge, while the condition explains what a decimal number must do to match it. Conditions may describe arithmetic facts, such as being prime or a perfect power, or a pattern in the written digits, such as a pair, a palindrome, or a repeated substring. The condition wording here is written for this guide; it is not a copy of the original site’s prose.

A family is a scoring group, not an extra requirement for matching. If two badges in one family both match a number, the higher-valued one contributes its EP and the other remains a visible match. Consider a long digit block that contains shorter patterns inside it: several related badges may fire, but simply summing all of them would disagree with the game. A blank family cell means that badge is independent and adds its fixed value whenever it matches. If two family members happen to have the same EP, the first in captured definition order wins the scoring position.

That rule is why a checker needs to report both matched and scoring badges. The number checker applies the conditions and marks which matches add EP. The table on this page instead describes all possible badges without claiming that any particular number earns them. Both views use the same fixed score data, so browsing a family here can help explain why a result elsewhere displays more badges than it counts toward the final total.

Two rarity scales

Badge rarity and whole-number rarity are related but distinct. A badge’s own label is assigned from its fixed EP value. It has six bands: common below 1,000 EP; uncommon from 1,000 through 9,999; rare from 10,000 through 99,999; epic from 100,000 through 999,999; anomaly from 1,000,000 through 9,999,999; and mythic from 10,000,000 upward. There is no trash badge band. The bands tell you where a single badge’s fixed value sits on the captured scale.

A whole number can match many badges and then receives one total EP after family selection. Its card tier is based on where that total stands in the complete 0–1,000,000 number domain. That second system has seven tiers, including trash. A number may therefore earn a badge whose individual rarity name differs from the number’s final tier. Using one label as a shortcut for the other would hide the arithmetic. The rarity page gives the exact whole-number EP boundaries and counts.

The fixed badge values were checked against exact match frequencies across the finite domain. Such a check supports the current captured table; it does not promise that a future official update will preserve the values. This site keeps its rule version explicit and uses frozen API evidence to test the resulting EP. As long as the current version is being discussed, a badge has one fixed score no matter which player’s number triggered it.

Families prevent double counting

There are 39 named scoring families in this capture. A family can have two members or many, but the rule is uniform: the highest-valued member among those actually matched contributes. The remaining family members may still appear as earned conditions. Sixty-five badges have no family and are evaluated independently for scoring. These facts are data properties of the current 233-entry table, rather than guesses from the shape of one result card.

The family labels can be useful when checking a score by hand. Start with every matched badge. Group only the ones that have the same nonblank family ID. Within each group, circle the largest EP; leave independent badges ungrouped. Add those circled values and the independent values. This gives the number’s total EP before any rarity label is considered. It is also the approach used by the local calculator and the all-number ranking.

The 420420 regression example is particularly clear. It matches 21 badges, but 17 contribute after grouping. Its public result displays BOTANIST as a matched badge with a fixed value, while HOTBOX from the same family supplies the scoring value. The remaining matched badges are still informative: they tell you why the number has a dense structure even when not every visible value is added. The total produced by the independent rule engine matches the frozen public score of 100,133,055 EP.

What this catalogue covers

The catalogue covers the finite badge definition set captured for this project, not an open-ended database of player achievements. It does not link to individual player pages or collect account histories. The conditions were independently rewritten from observed behavior, and the resulting 233 predicates were compared with a complete local domain reference. The total EP calculation was also checked against 100 separate public leaderboard records. Those two checks answer different questions: one checks rule coverage across possible numbers, while the other checks visible scores supplied by the original service.

If a future game version changes the badge list or score values, this table will need a new dated rule capture and the same verification work. The search field cannot silently change the underlying definitions; it only filters rows already built into the document. A single-page catalogue makes that version boundary visible and keeps related families easy to compare. For numerical examples, use the checker; for a probability view over every possible integer, use the theoretical rarity table.

Frequently asked questions

How many RNGdle badges are listed here?
This captured rule version has 233 badge definitions. All appear in the single table on this page.
Does every matched badge add its full EP?
No. Each matched badge without a family adds its value. For badges sharing a family, only the highest-valued matched member contributes; the others still count as matched.
Are badge rarity and number rarity the same thing?
No. A badge’s rarity follows its fixed EP in six bands. A whole number’s card tier follows its total EP percentile in seven bands, including trash.
Can I search the badge table?
Yes. The search field filters rows already rendered in the page. It does not request another page or call the original site.
Where do the EP values come from?
They are fixed values captured with the badge definitions for this rule version. The calculator uses those same values, then applies the family maximum rule.
Why are there no separate pages for individual badges?
One table keeps the full catalogue together and allows direct comparison of conditions, values, and families without splitting a finite list into hundreds of thin pages.
